Below you can read which personal data we process when you use our shop, why we do it and what rights you have.

2. What data we process

  • Name, delivery address and billing address
  • Email address and phone number
  • Order details and payment status
  • Technical data about your visit, such as IP address and browser type

We never receive or store credit card or bank account numbers ourselves. Payment details go straight to our payment provider.

3. Why we process it

  • To process, charge for and deliver your order. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Customer service and handling returns. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Our bookkeeping and tax obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • The newsletter, only if you signed up for it. Legal basis: consent. You can unsubscribe in every email.

4. Who we share data with

We only share data where it is needed to fulfil your order, with:

  • Mollie, for handling payments
  • PostNL, for delivering your parcel
  • Omnisend, for sending the newsletter
  • Our hosting provider, for running the website

We do not sell your data and do not use it for anything other than what is stated above.

5. How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice data: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
  • Customer service contact: 2 years after the last contact.

6. Security

The website runs over a secure connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

7. Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to the processing, to withdraw your consent and to have your data transferred. Email info@vandamsco.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
